This is a time in human history when there is a tremendous amount of chaos,  mindful yoga techniques provide a way of healing and harmony for our community...

 

YOGA4B Mission

Our mission is to implement mindful therapeutic yoga programs in our community, especially in the school system.

YOGA4B Goals

Our main goal is to develop individual focused programs to instill healing and hope to every person in our community.  

Provide healing techniques after traumatic events.

Develop specialized programs for our school system based on their curriculum.

Acquire facilitators in these groups that could red flag a child that needs further help.

Raise awareness by bringing up dialogue attached to suicide, depression and anxiety.  

Host community donation classes as therapeutic techniques, balance and mental health.

Teach meditation and breathing techniques to reduce the impact of stress and improve mental health.

 

YOGA:

day-to-day meaning of yoga. At its most practical level yoga is a process of becoming more aware of who we are. Yoga techniques facilitate balance and health, and unfold our dormant potential. Yoga allows us to be more aware of ourselves and feel connected. As such, yoga is a process of self-discovery.

 

MINDFULNESS:

a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

 

AWARENESS:

awareness is the ability to directly know and perceive, to feel, or to be cognizant of events. More broadly, it is the state of being conscious of something.

 

HEALING:

to heal, alleviate, becoming healthy again.

 

PREVENTION:

the action of stopping something from happening or arising.
